I bought an LG 27U411A-B partly because I know I couldn't find a glossy monitor for that price. The matte finish is not as pronounced as on other monitors I saw in stores. Anyway, I noticed Windows 11 left it on 60hz as the default setting. I put it on 120hz. I mainly watch shows or movies on that screen. So is there much of a difference? (I know I saw it 120hz uses more energy.)
Anyway, since I thought the colors almost looked pale against my HP monitor I changed the saturation to 70 from 50 inside the Intel Graphics software (for the i5-11400). Is this setting pretty high?
By the way I can say I don't think I'd want more than 27 inches for a monitor. I mean this is pretty much limit for me.
UPDATE (on February 04, 2026): I like the monitor. I think I'm no longer going under 27 inches from now on. I can see the difference just looking at the date on time compared to a 25 inch monitor.
