LG 226WT Gradient Effect

Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a LG 226WT and I just realized that there's some sort of gradient effect with this monitor. It's a little darker towards the top and gets a tad lighter towards the bottom. I can especially tell with black text over a white background. I'm using a Mac Pro via DVI-D. Too late to bring it back and I was wondering what can be done. Is there a app that I can adjust this with. There really isn't much with Apples Display utility nor with the monitors Menu.

I have an Lg L204WT and have exactly the same problem. I notice it mostly when viewing these forums. Would also like to know if theres any way of fixing it, doubt it though.
 
That's just the way TN panels are. They have poor vertical viewing angles.
 
Is there a application that can make up for it, either lightened up the top or darken the bottom?
