LF a simple/cheap router solution (gaming)

Hello, I have been using linksys routers for the past few years and it seems you have to physically reset them a lot. I have heard good things about D-Link and Netgear.

I am moving into the chicago area in about a week and security is a tiny issue also.

I do a lot of gaming, so anything that would help increase pings and/or prioritize packets would be good. This needs to be a WAP/Router.

I'm using a $40 Airnet router, which is fantastic. I was worried when i moved from my apartment into my (very old) house, because we use the laptop all around the house, and my HTPC is using a wireless AP for connectivity.

The Router serves from an office upstairs, on the other side of the house. VG to Excellent connection all the time (gaming worthy).

It was a cheap bandaid for my dead Linksys, and it's really proved to be a trooper for the longer term.
