If you look on hardfolding.com

there is a little meter to the right side of the page, basically it is the number of active members folding..

So if you run into people that arent.. they should...

If they used to.. convince them to do it again :)

Damn, 18.7? That's pretty low, of course I have a dead SN becouse I wanted it to match all my other ones.

actually its up from around 14 or so... we are going in the right direction

It a number or percentage? (Guesses number since we still rank #2 =P)

Any chance of clearing the deadwood out of our stats page for team health calculations? I'm not sure about the database structure we use, but it'd sorta make sense if we cut off the [H]ardFolding stats for all users with less than 100 points who are no longer actively producing, I.E. little skull icon, or cut the people who are considered dead with less than 2 WU turned in? I'm not sure how much it'd bork our stats or anything, but it'd be nice if the team health meter got a spike, and I'm pretty sure we can safely consider people with that few WU or points to be considered non-folders, or people who only did it for whatever reason and were never [H]ard. I'm not trying to be a dick on this one, and if anyone has a different opinion, I'd be glad to hear it.

that would be fakely inflating the team health, though. that's its entire point. we're generally a great team at recruiting, we just seem to have problems getting folks to stick around afterwards, when compared to people like Alliance Francophone/OC.com/OCAU. (we're still the best team though).

may i suggest formatting your posts so i don't feel like i'm reading a short answer question for an english class? i.e. no more paragraphs, please?

at any rate, last i checked it was at 19.0%

Ah, good point on the falsely inflating team health thing. My medication's wearing off, so my brain's starting to go sideways in more ways than one. It's just kind of upsetting to know that 8-odd pages of our stats are hardcore FBNFs.

As for formatting my posts, if I'm writing in English I generally use English grammar, but I'll work on not slamming out paragraphs consistently. Sort of a bad reflex from my first year of college; i.e. writing a 3 page essay every other day for two of my classes.

Does it really take that much extra effort to sit and contimplate the complexity of a well written work that was thought out and extrapilated before the user decided that it was worth of being submitted for the viewing pleasure of all the forum goers to the ever popular [H]? :p

You should see the speeches my boss writes (stanford law school grad.. ;) )

90% of people bring a dictionary along to try and catch a word here or there

That's an evil sentence this early in the morning K*

QFT, you see that smoke, thats my brain overheating at trying to comprehend all of that...

dang and i only used like 3 big words in there guys.. :p

You should see some of my litterary works from college ;)

I can see it already...

"To borg, or not to borg, that is the question"
"I fold therefore I am"
"Friends.. Romans.. Folders! Lend me your boxen!"

I agree, the polemical literature states clearly that sufficiency of attrition is not enough for even the penitent confessor to overcome the antidisestablishmentarianism of one's dispensationalistic concept of theistic determinism.

Your Thoughts?

BTW: That's a quote from a song :p

Could that be a BOFH-ism?

After reading all that, I think I blew a gasket. Now nothing productive is going to get done today. :(

Hard not to be calm in the face of bad posts when you create so many yourself! :p

Hmmm... should I? Nah, I'll be nice.

Back ontopic, team health, well I'm feeling pretty good, little sleepy, what about you guys?

Seriously on topic, these team health numbers are much higher than I've seen them in the limited time I've been around.
