When doing portraits, everyone knows about the trouble with lens glare and those wearing glasses. Now, usually you can work around the glare via lighting and either get rid of most of it, or position the glasses such that teh glare is offset nearer the frame and off vital parts of the persons face.

Now, you can get rid of partial glares by cloning it out using PS, but I was wondering if there are any specific programs particularly FOR getting out lens glare?

It's a very popular of Senior portrait photographers (for high school) to get a duplicate set of frames from the optometrist, or pop out the lenses if you are reallly careful. Not something you can always do but it's another tactic. Not sure about software.. it's best to find ways around "fix it in post" mentality. Not that there's anything wrong with PS though..

have them take off their glasses if its the only solution

i read somthing in pop photo the other day that said that almost all good portraits have glare in the subjects eyes
