I bought a Lenovo G505 on black Friday for a mobile machine, and its definitely lacking in the performance dept. It is just fine for internet browsing and emailing which is all I need this machine to do. But, it has a single stick of ram, is this hurting me? The processor sucks and I am not sure how to determine which is slowing me down more?
AMD E1 processor (1 ghz), 4GB ram. I was browsing newegg at ram and I am amazed at how expensive laptop memory is! 4GB costs twice as much as 8GB for a desktop.
