im a left-handed gamer and my MS intellimouse optical is starting to die on me. i really like the logitech mx510 but it seems like no one makes a left handed version of ANY mouse these days. any ideas?

Found these:

Microsoft Mood Ring Wireless Optical Mouse USB / PS/2 -RETAIL

Microsoft Optical Mouse by S+ARCK (Red) USB -RETAIL

Microsoft Optical Mouse by S+ARCK (Blue) USB -RETAIL

The ARCK ones look pretty cool ;) but there arent any in stock, ATM :(

I wouldnt recommend wireless mice for gaming though.

I thought the MX510 (or was it called the 500) was left handed as well.

I've read in reviews that the S+ARK mice have very sensitive buttons which will click if you rest your fingers on them. Haven't personally tried one as they're not available yet.

The MX310 is symmetrical. So maybe you could use that.

Why not just get used to right-handed mousing?

I am ambidextrous by birth, left hand dominant, and I learned to use a right-handed mouse with the arrival of my MX Duo, it's certainly not as hard as you think. Although, I have used the MX5/7 Series mice with my other hand it is a lot more comfortable than you think... just try not to bind those two side buttons to anything :p

I remember hearing somewhere that the vast majority of ambidextrous people start as lefties, my little sister is a lefty but she's also ambidextrous too.

I know lots of people use the mouse with their left hand as a result of carpal tunnel syndrome and all that stuff from using the mouse with their right hand too much.

I know that most micropore mice are ambidexterous as stated above..

I know of a few people with CTS but it's not from being on a PC. ;)
