2 leads - Single/Bicolor LEDOriginally posted by Kingpin
I know that there is a power and a ground leg but what about the 3rd or 4th leg on a bi-color led, what gets connected there?
Technically it is still a bicolor and even though it produces orange/yellow, you can not *easily* mix the colors. For all intensive purposes, tricolors allow one to mix green and red in whatever proportions the person chooses. Bicolors do not.Originally posted by SarverSystems
A bi color LED can be made into a tri-clor by applying AC voltage to it.
