LED Hardware Question.

I also, seriously - seriously doubt that the light itself could cause damage...but the heat from the boxes that you plug them into sure generate some heat. But no, I doubt any ''direct'' damage could occur from the lights themselves.


Sounds like you are talking about CCFLs, not LEDs. And yes I will never use a CCFL in a computer again, after I had one of my lights melt down. I have never had a problem with LEDs. Even with homemade LEDs that I have soldered my self, the only problem that could occur is that they don't work period.
