LED fan and Cold Cathode switch

i am building a new comp and want to put CC(Cold Cathode) and LED fans in there. the problem is that when i leave the comp for the night, i dont want a light show. are there any switches that can turn off CCs and LEDs in the fans.

I don't know about LED fans, but pretty much all CCFL kits I've seen have some sort of on/off switch.

I went to my local Radio shack and picked up a SPST switch. I then spliced (Yellow wire, +12v) it into a male/female molex connector, then connected it to the CCFL invertor between that and my PSU....works perfectly.

i just noticed that most CCFLs have ON/SWITCH switch. but LEDs are a problem

The CCFLs look great. Never heard of that brands of fans, They look all right, and they're cheap enough that if they suck, you won't be in the hole too bad.

i want clear fans without any LEDs, and i had truoble finding them. those are cheap so i'll get a couple and see how they are

Clear fan with no LEDs? That's simple. Just get a clear fan WITH LEDs, and cut one of the wires that run around the rim to power the LEDs. Problem solved.

i ordered 10 speeze fans a while back. they do work, in fact i'm using 4 in my current system. not the best fan and i will be replacing them when i can though (i prefer ball bearing fans).

i been thinking and will mosts likely just get some LED fans instead of CCFL coz i dont leave my comp ON for the night too often. can someone tell me if blue LEDs in their case bother them at night?

CCFL - wire them to a switch.

FANS - wire LEDs in the fans separately from the FANs themselves. (ok i got to stop capitalizing RaNdOm shit). then wire the leds to a separate switch.

what's the problem? don't know how to use a soldering gun?

nope. i still dont know wat fans to get. i mean i'll get CCFL for light but i need fans for cooling. i am too lazy to mod anything plus i dont have tools for it.
