Leaving speakers on 24/7

is it harmful for my amp is i leave my klipsch promedia 2.1 on 24/7??

from my understanding, if there is no signal input, the amp doesnt do any work thus no wear.

i have a promedia 2.1 (had it for like 2 years already), and i leave it on all the time.

i also have an ifi (6 months old), no problems either.

My speakers are generally on all the time, but not necessarily in use. They're fine.

I wish I could leave my Z-5500s on full time they hum something aweful in 6 channel direct, but in any other mode they dont
