Having been in folding since the first outing using Red Hat 5.2 on a 486 (and SETI before that for Sirenita of Colombia) and having spent at least a new car's worth of money on many graphics cards that melted and what not; about 5 years ago I got so tired of being treated like a pariah on the forums, the vindictive manner in which Folding was run, that I quit Folding for Stanford. So for the last 5 years I have been Folding for points, for me. Now that PG is throwing the baby out with the bathwater I am quitting folding completely. I feel like I need a shower every time I send a workunit in...and see my electric bill. What I am amazed at is that group has no idea about "net promoter score" and that the enthusiasts they so detest are the ones who set up family and friends computers, and therefore are responsible for a LOT more folding than they themselves are doing. But I am preaching to the choir. For for the last 5 years I have been reading every post on this fine forum. (how a forum SHOULD be run, PG, take note) So thanks to Tear and Musky and and and I have built some good BA machines. Now they are sitting idle except for a few weekends. I cannot post in the for sale place, and I do NOT want to cross any lines with this forum. But I would like to see you fine people have a chance to buy 2 of my 3 BA machines. They are set up completely by the guides here....but I will not post anything until someone says it is ok. What should I do? any advice or should I put back the BIOS and part them out on Ebay?
