The style does look like something Valve would do, though one of the pictures had the golden arches, and AFAIK valve don't use real life company logos.

I want HL3 godammit

Agreed... those graphics do look cool.. although... maybe my eyes are fooling me, but some of them have a semi-cell shaded look to them?

Probably just flat block-in textures that'll be replaced later on.
