What do you guys think of this cooling?

It´s supposed to be quiter but I am more interested if it´s more efficient than the stock cooling. Since this is something I will probably keep for 2 years or something it would be interesting to hear if anyone gotten any of those or what you think of it.

I'm sorry, but that might cool it better, but leadtek makes the ugliest coolers ever (imo). I remember seeing something that looked like a briefcase with 2 fans on it. It completely covered the entire card.

Well I don´t care to much about the look just the performance. It´s made of copper so it on paper at least looks better than the stock cooling :)

You must be referring to the Leadtek A250 Ultra TD. I have one in my machine right now. Its about to be retired. It's one of the best Ti4600 cards out there. Insane overclockability and it looks cool in a windowed case with a blue LED reflecting off of the aluminum HSF.

Back to subject please guys :) Leadtek 6800 ULTRA cooler. It´s no beauty but it´s better than stock right? I found an article at digitlife and they had it up to 465 so it looks good enough to me though I don´t really know how well the stock 6800 ULTRA clocks overclock in general :)

Its single slot which a HUGE plus in my book. Of course it will probably still take two slots after I put that new Danger Den 6800 water block on it :) Looking at the spec page it looks to be bundled with Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia. The MSI 6800 looks to be a single slot card with a reference cooler design but with a better software bundle.

Sorry, back on topic. I'm sure it overclocks great. It looks well constructed copper and has a decent fan. You can't go wrong.

Those pics are nice. I am really starting to dig that 6800ultra cooler. Who cares if it takes 2 slots, most people have multiple extra PCI slots anyways.

It´s still a two slot. the 6800 GT and non ULTRA have a half as thick copper cooler that looks the same otherwise.

I have heard noise reviews of the ULTRA and X800XT and the ULTRA was really loud so if this is quiter and more effective as well it´s a huge plus in my book. I had originally planned watercooling it but it´s too expensive to void the warranty. I sold my watercooling setup for my Vappochill so I will probably just use standard cooling and overclock only when I really need it. But it´s good to have a cooler that don´t hold you back to much when you really need to start pushing it when games get more demanding.
