I was looking around the other day and I noticed that SCEPTRE had a pretty nice 37" LCD TV. My original plan was to purchase a Dell 3007 WFP, but after seeing the larger display, I've become quite unsure of what to do. The monitor will be for mostly widescreen gaming. I know it's overkill, but if I'm going to buy something that I want to last, might as well go all out, right?

Anyways, if you guys could tell me some pros and cons and your recommendations, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

So do you think that I should take that path and get the lcd tv?

I'm convinced for the gamer, movie watcher, and websurfer these big LCDs are the way to go unless you are a die hard CRT user. Higher resolution displays like the 3007 are better for serious DTP and CAD work.

I've heard the Sceptre is nice. You might also look into the Westinghouse models out there, they are pretty popular as well.

Out of curiousity, what is DTP and CAD?

About the Westinghouse, I heard that they have some issues; would you care to point some of them out?

Are there any better big screens that you could recommend?

Thanks for your replies.
