Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of these? I'm thinking on getting one for simple TV & Console games. Any suggestions? I know a CRT television would be better but i'm looking to save space.

i don't have one but i too like them, did you know there are hdtv's and standard tv ones? i think everyone should get the hdtv capable, what's the point buying a standard when hdtv is the future.

depends on the size you need.
Larger sized LCD panel tvs are still quite expensive. The 45" Sharp has come down to around $6000 from a retail of $10000.

The smaller screens can be found fairly cheap but are not usually HDTVs.

I just got a 40" LCD TV. It's impressive when I play DVDs, but I won't pass judgment on it until I get my digital cable service upgraded to HDTV. I'm having it done on Monday and will let you know how it looks.

Is that a large LCD on that stand or are you just happy to see me? :D

If you're looking for a 20" LCD TV, there are lots of choices at very good prices. Just Google "20" LCD TV" and you should find anything you want.

LCD panel. I'd stay away from projection TVs. Here are a couple of pics...

LCD RPTVs have their advantages, mainly a large screen at a fairly affordable price. I am not a fan of them personally but many are.

All true. My best friend has a 40" Sony LCD RPTV and he loves it. They're just not for me. I didn't want to deal with the bulk and relatively limited bulb lifespan of projection TVs.
