I have a pristine 15.1 inch 1280X1024 LCD from a broken Compaq laptop.

I need to know what I need to make it functional. I have all the connections from the mobo to the LCD including cables. It looks as if it has a small controller card attached, but obviously it needs a power source and a method to convert a signal into something it understands.

I have two uses in mind for it. Either flush mounting it to the back of an ATX case (on the opposite side of the window) for a snazzy LAN box or mounting it into a picture frame with the wires from a PVR/ATI AIW usage PC concealed.

An help would be greatly appreciated.
