LCD Screen < 15" --- POLE MOUNT?

Alright guys. Basically looking for a monitor that is smaller than 15" ... with reasonable pricing. It is for a specific use ... so i need 800 x 600 resolution.

if not ... what is the cheapest and smallest LCD monitor you know?

and lastly a mount. It will be mounted on a counter, so essentially a POLE will come out of the counter and then the display will be mounted on that. Do you know of something like this? and again in reasonably priced. (I have too many pricy ones)

I was thinking of getting a pole and base from Home Depot and mounting it on that? ... what do you think?
