I have two CrystalFontz modules in a pair of 1U cases that I bought. I'm looking to pull one of them out to use in my computer but I'm pretty sure they are 16x2 units instead of 20x4, and I'm not totally sure if it has the SCAB on it or not. It's been a while since I've had the enclosure open. Anyone out there have much experience with these units?

I know that one of them is a 633. It has the power connector, four fan headers and a USB interface. Adonis wasn't using the device for fan function or monitoring at all and I'm not sure if I will either. My primary interest is to display information similar to the nMediaPC device that ships with the Thermaltake DH-101 except less robust. I want very specific pieces of information to be cycled on screen, such as free disk space, memory usage, CPU utilization, network traffic, date and time. I might also play around with Visual Studio and Flex Builder to see if its possible to have a website or AIR application post information to an LCD.
