LCD or CRT

Ok my friend and I are having this debate about which is better for gaming and I need to know which is better for gaming an LCD or a CRT because we need an end to this thanks a ton dudes.

CRT

Even the best LCDs still don't have the refresh times a CRT does. They're awefully damn close though and if you're like me, you can't tell the difference.

Gaming is an easy one , CRT hands down for the sub 1ms response times & resolution flexibility,also no input lag ,better black levels and the ability to run with Vsync disabled without the nasty screen tearing effect (just increase the refresh rate,higher the better).

im going to go with Lcd on this one, i cant see any ghosting on my 2005fpw, some notice that if you can then go with crt but if not go with lcd, my eyes feel so much better on an lcd than crt, even at 85hrz my eyes still got strained after a while on a crt.

plus gaming in widescreen is awesome.

How about you get the best of both worlds and get that Sony/HP fw900 24 inch Widescreen (
LINKY) it looks to be really nice, but its getting harder and harder to find one.

I have really good eyes, like insanely good. I can see ghosting on anything, from my TV to my PC. I own the FW900 and I think it is a great display but the ratios are kind of odd. You have to manually set it for every resolution, which gets kind of hard. I never owned any LCD displays to compare but playing HL2 at 2048x1280 is awesome!!!!
