1. Is there a way I can find the response time on my moniter?

2. I got finger print smudges on my lcd and I used soap to clean it. But now whenever the lcd is off I can see where I cleaned it. Is there any way to remedy this situation? It's annoying the hell out of me.

the soap you used probably destroyed the anti-glare coating on your monitor, you cannot replace this as far as i know.

you can make it even by washing the rest of the LCD, but that is about it i think.

as for the response time, just do a google search on the lcd make and model number you should find it.

Does the anti-glare protect the LCD in any way? I don't notice it all when the thing is on but only when it's off.
