Thinking about buying a 23" LCD or so to use my xbox and ps3 on, so computer use is secondary. I have a 24" dell and hooking the PS3 up via DVI looked like crap. Only batman looks good, all the others apperantly play at 480p and scale terribley.

Any idea what to look for? Instead of a 1920x1080 LCD should i be looking a 720p LCD TV instead?

Tips to maybe make it not suck so bad on my 2407-WFP HC?

Something in your display settings is wrong. Unless you're just very picky and think that 1280x720 scaled looks terrible. If they really are using 480p you need to go back to your display settings and enable everything but 1080i.

check out the BenQ E2400HD

blacks and color reproduction won't be as good as the 2407, but doesn't have nearly as much lag and its 1080p native so you can play games in fullscreen without stretching/ruining your image.

Well I will say the PS3 wasn't outputting 720p, now that is enabled, its looks pretty good on my 2407. Still kinda want to dedicate a display to it, we have a 2 year old so the tv is just Spongebob/Dora/Yo Gabba Gabba

Budget is $250ish,cheaper always better, wouldn't mind a TN panel, just want something that 1920x1080 or an 720p LCD TV.

I'm using my ASUS VW266H with my Xbox360 and PS3... I got if for $280 from Amazon... It's a 26" 1920x1200 monitor... runs pretty good... It has HDMI and Component video inputs and built in speakers if you care...

There is a 24" model that runs 1920x1080 that's about $220... VW246H...
