Well, I'm a proud owner of a Viewsonic VP191b 8ms Overdrive Panel, and i'm hella happy bout it ... but ... well its time for an upgrade *sheepish smile*

These are the contendors

2405FPW
N3260W
VP2130b
VP231Wb
N2750W

Of course price is an issue, but I consider a monitor as an investment rather than a wast of money

Any other monitor suggestion are more than welcome, on the contrary please suggest!!!!

And I know that most probably a majority would consider the Dell, but i kinda don't like its design [the same was for my current monitor and when i got it i fell in love]

Thanks!!!

The Dell first, the 20" Viewsonic second (if you don't need that much space), the 23" Viewsonic 3rd (overpriced, plus its a refurb).

The Dell 2405fpw looks just as good as any other 23/24" LCD on the market, and you can get it for cheaper.

The other two, the 32" and the 27", have such pathetic resolutions they wouldn't make for a good full time monitor.

.

Only if you are not very picky. The IPS panels have better response (less lag) and much better viewing angles. The dell 24" will color shift with very small viewing angles changes. All of them not just mine. It is just a question of wether it bothers you. It certainly bothered me. I sold my 2405 and am looking for a non-pva replacement.
