LCD Hz, 60, 75, or ?

Does refresh rate on an LCD matter? I remember on a CRT if you dropped down to 60Hz, the screen would seem to flicker, that is why 75 or even 85 was better...but with this new 2405FPW, running the native res at 1920x1200 only runs at 60Hz...does anyone know of any problems with this?

Nope. LCD pixels don't change until needed to, there isn't a refresh rate of the pixels themselves.
 
I'll add a third "nope" - I have my LCD connected via DVI and have no "60hz" eyestrain what so ever. In and LCD the "refresh rate" is completely different than that of a CRT and there is no corollation between the two.
 
The only "problem" you may have is that if you're running games with V-Sync enabled, you have a theoretical max of 60 fps in games. Now, for most people, this is enough, but if you're picky...

(I'm running V-sync on 60 Hz and I don't mind at all)

Since LCD monitors do not employ phosphors, refresh rate is not a concern. Basically, the transistors in the LCD remain open or closed as needed until the image changes. This can be a point of confusion for some consumers, however, since most graphics cards still "ask for" a refresh rate setting. This is due to the analog nature of existing graphic cards (see "Inputs" section) and their support for CRT displays. While refresh rates do not apply to LCD monitors, most LCDs are set up to accept any settings from 60Hz and above.
 
There might be some more doorscreening effect at 75Hz I'm not sure. Also people say you're stuck at 60Hz on a DVI connection, though I am able to do it...
