LCD goes black randomaly

I bought a Gateway FPD2185W about a month ago and it randomaly just turns black sometimes. Im using a DVI cable. The blue light stays on and everything. I usually get it back by turning it off and turning it back on. sometimes it works on the first try and its fine for over a week. others it takes about 10 trys to get it back on by turning it on and off. Its weird because it is completely random. and dit works flawlessly when its working. And its never happened during a game. Usually when im just listening to music. But tonight it took about 5 minutes to get it back working and i was pissed. So any suggestions? thanks.
