LCD ghosting/blur

My girlfriend just reformatted her computer I installed the lastest video drivers and monitor drivers but for some reason the letter seem blurry and Icons on the desktop look like they have a ghost outlilning of them to the right side of them. What can I do?
 
Make sure you're running at maximum resolution.

If you're connecting with VGA see if the monitor has an auto-adjust function. If not see if you can manually adjust.

Try DVI. If you're already on DVI try VGA.
