LCD desk mount recommendation

Hello,

I'm looking for a simple recommendation for an LCD desk mount that does NOT require drilling.

Here's the current situation:


  • 1 x Dell 2408WFP on a typical IKEA desk.

The future situation could be something like:

  • 1 x 30" LCD landcape.
    1 x Dell 2408WFP in portrait mode off to the side.
    Same IKEA desk ;)

For now the future scenario does not exist and it'd be acceptable to have to get a new mount setup at that point.

Ergotron makes some of the best mounts around.

I've used the LX mounts for a few different monitors and have had no issues.

They also have a variety of multi monitor mounts including dual, tri, quad, ect.

Looks like from the installation documentation there are a variety of mounting options, one of which looks to be independent of drilling a hole in the desk, etc. This should work perfectly.

No Problem. I just use the clap method myself. No reason to drill into a perfectly good piece of furniture if you don't have to.
