Is there a software you which helps you to effectively tune your LCD Brightness/Contrast settings to perfection? I've seen DVD's for LCD TVs that serve that purpose so a was wondering if there was a similar software for PC LCDs.

The ultimate ofcourse would be to use a hardware tool like the lacie or the spyder. I just don't want to spend another $150-300 for something I'll use once in a blue moon. ;)
