Hey guys! Ive been doing heaps of research lately into building my new system as it is time to upgrade from my 6 or so year old P3-1Ghz :(

My specs are as follows (to be built):

Mobo: Asus A8N-Sli Deluxe Socket 939
CPU: AMD Athlon 3800+ 939 (venice core when it becomes available here)
RAM: Corsair XMS-PC4400 CAS2.5 1024mb (2x512mb sticks)
Video Card: Leadtek PX6800GT TDH 256mb PCI-e
Storage: 2 x Seagate 7200RPM NCQ 8mb SATA
Optical: Pioneer DVR109 Black
Power: Antec TruePower 550W V2.0

Ok guys that is the system im most likely going to build but i havent made my choice on LCD monitor yet. I am still tossing up whether to got 17" or 19". I will do a lot of gaming and i want a low response time and am therefore looking at an 8ms LCD of some sort.
Bare in mind some monitors are available here in Australia that arent in America and vice versa, but any suggestions and links to reviews or personal opinions would be greatly apprciated.

17":

Samsung 710N (12ms, but lack of DVI is a worry from what i have read, cant get 710T in aus)

LG 1750SQ (8ms but havent found much info on this yet)

19"

Hyundai L90D+ (heard good and bad about this monitor, undecided)

BenQ FP937S+ (bit worried bout the cheapy design and funcionaliy of this monitor, heard good and bad)

Samsung 913N (apparently very good but lack of DVI makes me worried again)

Any help would really be appreciated thanks guys, as i said i want a really good image, clear, but i want absolutely no ghosting at all and therefore need something sub 12ms, most likely a TN panel.

no one's helping you until you swear by the ducky to fold 24/7 for team 33. you are in enemy territory you realize...

 
I reccomend the Hyundai it is an excellent monitor 8ms resopnse time Ohh soo pretty.

ditto, on that...I have no regrets on the L90D+, I'll post a link of the review I'll be writing up w/ pics. For gaming it's perfect, but for movies I'd go w/ something else since the viewing angles are rather limited. Also have you checked out the Samsung 930B? it's 19" 8ms and supposedly one of the best 19" LCD's out there and performs on par if not better than the hyundai...then again I'm not sure if that particular model is available in Aussie

I would like a L90D+ but they have a crap dead pixel policy which is making me shop arround. Ive also heard bad things about back lighting problems and banding :confused:
Oh welll the more suggestions the better and i'll keep marching forward :cool:

yeah when you are done id like to read the review and see pics, etc....what are the cons of this monitor?
