Interesting idea, but I'm sure it's been done before.

My friend has a defunct laptop, yet the screen still works. He and I have decided to try and integrate it into the side of a case, effectively creating a 'LAN-box', if you will. The problem is, of course, the connections for both power and video. I was wondering if the collective intellect of [H] knew of any places to buy adapters for laptop LCDs. If needed, I can provide pictures (although I have absolutely no idea on the model number).
