Fans of old school twitch-style shooters have something to look forward today. Brought to you by Cliffy B and his development studio Boss Key Productions, publisher Nexon have unleashed their new gravity-defying-combat fps for the PC and PS4. The game had a soft release for PC players as the servers went online yesterday afternoon. Available for $29.99 digiitally, there is also an extremely limited physical release for collectors at this link.

Check out the video.

Are you Skilled AF? Elevate your multiplayer skills in a new futuristic world from the mind of gaming legend Cliff Bleszinski. Prepare to put your FPS skills to the test and engage in a new kind of combat with low-gravity action and high-speed twitch shooting.

I tried the beta a few times early on but didn't think it was very good... anyone know if it improved over the course of the subsequent betas?

CliffyB releases Bro-Focused Shooter. Comes with jug of Mega Gain 2000 Anabolic.

Remember when he initially announced it'd be F2P? Then he turned around and decided to charge for it?

That's not necessarily a bad thing. F2P games are filled with annoying transactions / pay-walls and often the gameplay is reduced because of it. Also, LB is being sold for a pretty low starting price.

And like Seventyfive suggested, it might go F2P later - it might already be Boss Key's intention to move the game from a paid product to F2P after a year or so. Different times require different business strategies.

But a paid product normally means you get a complete and comprehensive game package, without the noise, clutter, and piecemeal design F2P products.

The "Skilled AF" trailer finally killed my interest in this game. Who is this game for? 14 year olds chugging Mtn Dew and calling people n******s on XBox Live?

And not one single time have I thought a character in the game looked interesting. Everything about this game screams tryhard.

Don't know anything about the game, but this should be part of it:

It's a decent starting price, but still, to announce something as F2P then turn around and charge for it, is kinda lame.

I'll stick with Quake Champions.
