Hi guys
I recently got the trial version of WoW. I am having trouble with my computers latency in the game. I am lucky if the latency is 2000ms. I have a Belkin Pre-N wireless router connected to the internet and a Belkin Pre-N wireless pcmcia/pci card in my desktop.
I thought at first I probably just had a virus or something similar so I wiped my hard drive and started over but the problem continues. When playing on the computer that is connected to the router through a cable or on a laptop using the wifi signal the latency is fine.
It's just something with my computer. When I installed everything I didn't do anything fancy just installed the drivers and didn't mess with anything. I have tried disabling the firewall but that didn't change anything.
I don't have any idea of what to do. I'd like to figure out one way or another if I can fix it so I know whether or not to get a subscription to WoW when my trial runs out.
Thanks
