Largest single internal hard drive?

I was wondering if you can get a single hard drive that is larger than 400gb? And I don't want any of those external terabyte hard drives, since those are basically a few hard drives put together to make one terabyte?
 
The sticky [thread=873523]Buyer's Guide[/thread] has all the info you need. There you will find that the largest commercially available internal drives are 400GB, at present. Both Seagate and Hitachi have an entry at this capacity point. Hitachi has announced a 500GB drive, but it is not available yet. It was announced at the same time as the T7K250 which is now available, so I'd expect 7K500 to hit the channel soon. However, they may have some problems with implementing 100GB platters.

All of the performance data I've seen suggests that the Hitachi 400GB is significantly faster than the Seagate, but the Seagate uses (an ostensibly more reliable) 2 fewer platters, has a longer warranty and is quieter.
