I'm looking for the cheapest/best option for setting up a large racing simulator with eyefinity. I think if I can find a TV without tons of input lag that would be better/cheaper than using 30" monitors since trying to drive 3x2560x1600 panels at a good frame rate would be very difficult. Input lag is pretty critical to good racing, are there any TVs that don't have a scalar or tons of processing going on?

yeah I saw that posted on the iracing forums a while back and its what got me thinking about going large.
I have about a 9x12 foot space for the monitors and cockpit.

$600 or less is really what I am looking for

On newegg I see 1080p options ranging from this viewsonic 32" for $500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889107066

to this toshiba 40" for $620

In the toshiba customer reviews someone actually mentions low input lag but the fact that they think it has "no input lag" combined with them saying they only console game on it makes me suspicious that they don't know what they are talking about.

Can you eyefinity 30" monitors at native resolution? I don't think there is a ati card with 3 Dual Link DVI connects. Correct me if i'm mistaken.

in most cases anything with 1080p should be at 1920x1080 thus only needs a single link..

Yeah I understand that, running 3 1080 displays is fine, but the native resolution of most if not all? 30 in monitors is 2560x1600, which is what the op wants to run.

You could use an Eyefinity6 5870 or soon to be released 5970.

I should clarify. I don't want to run 3x2560x1600. That's too many pixels, I don't want to always need the newest $500 processor and video card to run new games.

Im going to look up reviews on the vizio. Anyone know anything about their input lag off hand?
