Large capacity MP3 player?

Does anyone know of any 250GB+ MP3 players that have physical controls?

It seems like they don't seem to make many MP3 players that size, which sucks. Only one I've seen is the Archos 5 but I need physical controls since I hate using a touchscreen while driving.

I don't need fancy EQ or any other features really, size doesn't really matter either, just need something that holds a ton of music and has physical controls. I have 230GB of music at the moment but I hate having to select which music to put on my player. I just want to sync it all and be done.
 
I looked around a bit online and as you have already found out, it seems if you want anything above 250GB it is going to be in the form of a tablet which isn't what you are looking for. From your question since you put a + by the GB, you want more room to grow in the future. Perhaps the easiest way is to get a MP3 player with a SDHC slot and put all your music on 32GB or 64GB SD/MicroSD cards. This way, you technically could have all your music with you if you take along all the cards, plus you have room to add more music. Just have to be careful with those cards. The only other solution seems to be to split your music onto two devices. Good luck!
 
You're limited by the harddrives available. Thanks to the iPod any device smaller then a tablet uses 1.8" drives or flash. You're not going to find 250GB+ of flash in an mp3 player, and the classic iPod line already uses the largest 1.8" drives available (the HD based Zunes used the same brand of Toshiba 1.8 harddrives). Before the iPod came out there was the chunky Zen Jukebox which used a 2.5" IDE harddrive giving it 60GB compared to the flash competitors 256mb players. I believe the largest 2.5" drives with an IDE interface where 320GB, but I have doubts the Jukebox firmware could access past 127GB.

Is it only for the car? Could you look at a dash system, which would add some flexibility in storage (2.5" SATA HD or 2.5 SATA SSD).
