laptop wont fully connect to network????? help....

ok when i try to connect to the network....
it does but it says you may have limited or no connection to it...
it wont let me get online....or anything....share files....
ive never seen this problem before...
i tried reinstalling everything.....
still nothing....
release/renew the IP says it cant fix it....
anythign i can do with my router to fix it?
 
would it help to tell you that my IP is all out of wack? cause these numbers are nothing close to what they should be....or even close to any of the other comps on the network....

could windows auto assigned ip range.

How are you connecting?
Wired/wireless?
 
could try going to a command prompt and typing ipconfig /flushdns, then ipconfig/registerdns, then ipconfig/renew and see if that works for you....sometimes Ive had that problem, especially if i had been on a previous network. this seemed to resolve the issue for me
