Can anyone recommend a notebook wireless card that actually has good reception, good range. I have an old SMC card that won't pick up the signal from my router/modem in the next room.
I have used a buncha different ones.... I find the D-Link DWL-650 works pretty good... the DWL-G630 is poopy, and the Motorola ones I've tried(can't remember the models) had poor reception as well... the only Linksys one I worked borked a laptop upon install....
