Laptop video cards?

I am researching for what video card to buy for my laptop. Lately, I have been hearing about ATI Mobility Radeon X600 256 MB. I've been trying to find a review for it, so I have some idea of its performance. To my disappointment, I couldn't even find a good review. I am asking you guys, is Mobility X600 any faster than Mobility 9700?

theyre about equal. read some other laptop threads. ive answered stuff like this in there before.

id say get a X700 if you can. the Acer TravelMate 8100 series have them. only ones on the market w/ them i think.

but the x600 and 9700 are almost on par. there may be some advantages w/ PCI-E, though. just do some research. www.tomshardware.com www.google.com and probably www.notebookreview.com. check out some other forums.

ibuypower is okay, i guess, but i dont know much about them.

the acer travelmate 8100 series are great laptops w/ some awesome performance. do a froogle search for them. i dont think theyre in stock right now, though.

How does Intel M compare to Pentium 4's? All I know is that the M ones save battery power, but what about performance?

esp when it comes to gaming, the Pentium M kicks the P4's arse [H]ard!! in everything except for video encoding, the pentium M wins hands down.

its a win-win w/ Pentium M. awesome game performance w/ plenty of battery life to spare. :D
