Laptop video card upgrade

[DarkFeather]

Hello,

I have a friend who would like to upgrade his laptop video card. Were could I get laptop GFX cards at. Other than E- bay? And how do I know if the card will work with the laptop?
Also do laptop's have different buses?, like PCIe and AGP?
His laptop is a Toshiba, 17 inch, Vista home Premium, Pentium Dual-Core, 1 gig of RAM, Intel GMA 3100 256MB. Thats all I know about it right now.

Unfortunately you cannot upgrade to a dedicated card when you have IGP.

Also, only certain notebooks can actually upgrade. You can read more about it here: Upgrading Mobile Graphics Cards
