Just a quick tip, for those who convert laptops (with or without broken components, which render them useless as portable systems) into desktops -

Processor heatsink/fan units designed for general Socket M / P, Xeon "Sossaman" and Pentium M / Socket 479 fit the GPU core mounts for all standard MXM, both formats (I,II,III and A,B). While I can't guarantee they all can sink the full 100W of some of those cards, the larger 2U Dynatrons are designed with 75W maximum in mind, and 60W comfortable.
