Laptop tapping question

When i plug my mouse in, the tapping works. everything is cool.

Then i restarted my laptop and the tappingn is disable. I had to uninstsall the mouse and restart, Then I got to go back to the laptop mouse to enable then tapping.

How cani fix this from happening again. should i insall the actualy software for my mouse,
