I was looking into some eyefinity but the massive bezel's kill it for me. ran up on this link and though it would be sweet to have 3 of these in Eyefinity.

Is there anyway that this can be done with little effort and cost? Googled the questions and couldn't find any up to date information.

the link is of a replacement screen for laptops.
If you are willing to experiment with a DIY construction and able to get all the electronics, inverters & such in place it migh be feasible..
IMHO for a bit more like around $150 per display, you can get 3 x 23'ers and hook them up together.
Philips has a nice 23' series, the 230 something with HDMI, DVI, VGA & speakers.
Have in mind we are talking about TN displays all this time..

If don't want any bezel have a look at seamless diplay at a price, or compromise with digital tigers & 9x media:

That price tag is far to high for the bezelless monitors, 3 projectors is almost cheaper.

The pro's of the laptop screens are you can get 1920x1200 at only 16". It would be the smallest way to get 5760x1200.

The requirements for getting that sort of screen running off a desktop are pretty involved. I recommend posting this on a site where users have some experience with this sort of thing like the the MP3Car forums - but please do some searches first, and follow the forum rules about posting.
