Laptop Problem Please Help

I have an Asus G1S. The guarantee just expired a couple of months ago and now I'm having some serious problems with it.

When I turn it on. The screen is all black. It displays nothing at all (not event BIOS). If I hook up an external monitor you can see something. But it is really messed up. There are graphic glitches everywhere and its almost unusable.

I tried to use the external monitor to reinstall the video drivers (even reinstall the OS). And these things seem to fix it for a little while. But after a while, when I try to turn the laptop back on we are back to square one, and the screen doesn't display anything. I can go through the whole process of reinstalling the OS/Video drivers, and it seems to fix it temporarily again. But I have not found any permanent fixes. Does anyone have any hints or ideas or links to solutions?

But if its a hardware issue. Why would reinstalling video drivers temporarily fix it?
 
I wonder if some newer drivers are getting installed on your system through Windows Update or something. I would document your driver setup as soon as do a fresh install of the drivers then verify that the drivers did not indeed get updated somehow.
 
I don't think thats the case. Because I've already tried installing ubuntu Linux and the same thing happens.
