Laptop Modification Suggestions

I've just got my hands on a free laptop that was left for dead, which I've managed to bring back from the dead. As such, I'd like to modify it someway to make it my own, but this being my first lappy, I have no idea what to do mod wise as would like suggestions from you guys if you'd be so kind.
If you could rate the suggestions out for 5 for the following criteria that would be amazing; difficulty, cost and aesthetic. If I use any ideas I'll totally credit you :D
