Laptop LCD model number help

Just pulled an LCD out of a laptop and need some help finding the exact model number.

I pulled the lcd from a sharp laptop model pc-9070. It is a 12.1 inch TFT active matrix 64k screen color screen, 41 pin connector stright from LCD that connects to a flat ribbon cable that goes to a 40 pin connector that connected to the laptop main board.

I know i need a controller board for the mod I'm trying to do but i still need to know the exact model number of LCD. The only info from sticks on the hardware is a stick on the front of the LCD with the numbers 263BTA-A and another sticker on the back that reads 2107' 6321-OH-1

from what I have found on the net almost all model number from sharp start with LQ??????? and that is what i can't seem to find out

any help would help get this mod off the ground
 
Normally the model number is on a sticker on the back of the backlight reflector. See if you can disassemble the LCD unit any further.

Also, try searching for 'sharp pc-9070 LCD pinout' or 'sharp pc-9070 LCD datasheet' on Google, maybe you'll get lucky and only one model of LCD was used on that line, or that the models used by the line are easy to tell apart.
 
OK found the model number printed witch si LQ12S02
been looking al over the place for a data sheet and the best match i can find is a LQ12S08. i'm starting to think this LCD mya be to old for any kind of mod, but still gonna keep, looking for info just incase
 
It's really a crap-shoot whether or not you can find datasheets for Sharp LCDs. Unless it's a Active-Matrix TFT, I wouldn't bother putting much effort in it.
