Laptop hard drive replacement?

I have an inspiron 8500 lappy and I want to change the hard drive. It has an IDE drive, I found and EIDE hard drive online I am interested in. Is that the same interface? What exactly should I be looking for as far as the correct interface for a drive.

Any of these will work.

One thing you will have to remember/be careful with is the connector that is attached to your current dell hard drive. You will have to remove it and put it on the new hard drive that your order.
