Hi all, just a quick question, I've never really ran into this particular problem, but it's came up, so I want to make sure I buy the right drive.

I have this machine, and it has a failing sata150 drive in it currently. I'm looking to put a nice 7200rpm in its' stead, however I'm not sure if the drive I want will work. My question is, will a sata300 drive work, and if not, will the sata150 be the only drive that will be compatible with my laptop? Many thanks in advance.

SATA300 is fully backwards-compatible with SATA150. It'll work fine.
