Ok, perhaps this should go in the laptop forums, but I think more people visit this one.

I have a 7900GS oced to somewhere between a 7900GT and 7950GT performance wise. And am looking to get something similar with a laptop.

So the choices look to kind of be a 7900GTX, 7950GTX which should both have more power than my current card. Or a 8600GT or 2600.

Any suggestions from you people out there?
 
Thanks. That helps me out quite a bit actually. So I guess anything with a 7900GTX will at least fill the bill. And at least some of those are only $1500ish.

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of places taking pre-orders. But their all over $2000 for the laptops their in, which I'd prefer not to spend. And if the specs WikiPedia has for the card are correct, they seem kind of lackluster performance wise compared to the high end 7 series parts. Faster yes, but doesn't look like it'll be by much.
