Bought an Asus G51VX. The Nvidia GTX 260M seems to be underclocked out of the box from what I've read. I admit I've not overclocked before so I need some help.

I'm using SETFSB to overclock the CPU to 2.5GHz after boot.

GPU:
Atitool .27 beta 4 - Seems to make my fans spin, but doesnt actually do anything.
Ntune 6.03 - Cant figure out how to use this to overclock, am I using the wrong version?
Rivatuner - Cant run, signature issue.

Is there a better tool or way to use the ones I have that I just dont understand.

I'm running Vista 64 (came with it, not bothering to change to XP b/c of the free upgrade later this year to Win 7).

Thanks!

Well if you have other eVGA products you can use precision. I use it for my G71V-Q1

Tried it out, not sure I'm using it right though. I slid it the GPU Core and Mem speed up (slightly at first and then later all the way - no matter what it didnt seem to change anything), and hit apply.

Then I opened Atitool to check for artifacts (didnt find any)... but Atitool is showing my Core and Mem clock as the stock 500/799 it shipped with.

Am I missing a step with the Precision tool? Thanks!
