I originally posted this in the mobile computing section and got no response....hopefully some of you can help...

Specs:
A64 3000+
512PC2700
Nvidia GeForce 4 440 Go
Widescreen
etc....

Just got this laptop(HP Pavillion zv5000z), and have an issue with display resolution. I absolutely love the WXGA screen for general browsing and movies...but I want to do some emulation on this thing too. Whenever I run the emulator (NeoRage), the picture is stretched to fit the whole screen. So I went into properties and changed to "aspect ratio"...tried it again....and now I just get a black screen. I tried the same thing with Diablo2 (knowing that its going to be 800x600 without being able to change it)...same things happened with D2.

I've updated the latest Nvidia drivers (WHQL certified at least)..and I've been looking to see if I can find a specific driver for this LCD, but haven't had any luck. If I could change the resolution to just 1024x768 and run the game with black borders on the sides, that's fine.

Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks
